Muzan easily blitzes a Lower Moon from 100+ meters away and returns to his original position before the Lower Moon fully realizes what happened. Upper Moons can keep up with Hashira, who in turn can blitz Lower Moons with near-contemptuous ease. The strongest Demons like the Upper Moons and Muzan Kibutsuji are vastly faster than Lower Moons. In regards to the higher-level Demons’ speed, it’s worth noting that a stronger Tanjiro fails to blitz Rui, a Lower Moon, despite rushing at the Demon with the "most decisive" Tenth Form. However, it demonstrates the kind of speeds that Demon Slayers can achieve with their supernatural breathing techniques - which sufficiently skilled users can maintain constantly, even when asleep. Granted, this speed appears to be tied to the Demon Slayers' Total Concentration Breathing rather than standard movement, since Tanjiro clearly isn't that much faster than the Demon he’s fighting when he's just moving around normally (without mentioning a specific style). At this point in the series, Tanjiro is only a mid-level Demon Slayer, far inferior to high-level Demons. This is easily within hundreds of km/h if not outright supersonic. In terms of speed, Tanjiro during the Asakusa Arc uses the Third Style of Water Breathing to cover dozens of meters at visibly superhuman speeds despite the scene already being in very slow motion (look at how the balls thrown by a superhuman combatant appear frozen in the air). Tanjiro by the later parts of the series can cut through opponents whose flesh outright stopped his blade previously, which indicates that he grows far stronger than this. Note that this is Tanjiro just after finishing his basic training. For a point of comparison, armor-piercing tank rounds have muzzle energies between 7-25 megajoules. So yeah, Tanjiro can make cuts with hundreds of megajoules of kinetic energy behind them. The boulder is specifically noted to be very tough compared to other boulders, so let's use a shear strength of 45 MPa, or 4,588,722.95 kilogram-force per square meter. If we multiply the cross-sectional area of the rock, the distance of the cut, and the shear strength of the rock, we get the kinetic energy necessary to make this cut.
Therefore, the cross-sectional area of the cut is around 3.47 m^2. Tanjiro is 165 cm tall, so the boulder is around 2.101~ meters tall. Tanjiro near the start of Demon Slayer is already strong enough to slice a 2~ meter-wide boulder clean in half.
